Over five thousand years ago, Indian Odyssey has attracted the visitors across the continents. Not just for its wealth and precious stones, but also for its bountiful resources and preserves. Being a mystic paradise, India has a magnetic pull attracting travelers from far and wide.

Indeed a crowning glory to the world, vibrant historical heritage belongs only to this land. The Pre-Vedic historic times began with the birth of the Indus Valley Civilization in Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa, along with upsurge of the Aryans. Mauryan Empire emerged as one of the biggest kingdoms in India under the reign of Chandragupta Maurya. His grandson Ashoka forwarded the legacy of bringing India under single rule and spread Buddhism in different countries of the world. Gupta, Cholas, Pandyas and Cheras were some other popular dynasties of India.

Then the ages of rule under Mughals wrote another chapter in the history of India. By that time, India was a Golden Bird attracting travelers' far and wide, just because of its heritage, spirituality, wealth, culture and cultivations. The known travelers to Indian Subcontinent who settled here permanently include British, Portuguese, Dutch and French. At one point of time, India totally came under the British Empire till 1947 A.D.

And now after 63 years of Indian independence, India still offers its travelers' a treat of vast culture, cuisines, climate, relief features and regional diversity. That makes India eligible in every travelers' itinerary.
